Emur Disability Advocacy Inc., is a 501 c 3 nonprofit that supports and advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Emur Disability Advocacy is registered in the state of Texas, USA.
Our Mission
​We exist to empower, encourage, and support people living with developmental and intellectual disabilities to reach their full potential and be fully integrated into inclusive communities.

Emur's Board of Directors

Emur Disability Advocacy has two board directors- Goretti Rerri, Ed.D., and Celiajoy Williams. Emur Disability Advocacy was founded by Goretti Rerri, in 2015. Goretti is a retired special education teacher and mother of an adult child living with autism. Goretti Founded this nonprofit organization to help raise awareness about intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). More importantly, she wanted to provide a platform whereby people with IDD can be supported and encouraged.
Celiajoy Williams has been working as a licensed speech pathologist for many years, in a local school district. She has worked with many students with IDD including autism and Downs syndrome. Like Goretti, Celiajoy has a passion for increasing awareness for IDD and providing support and encouragement to all people living with IDD.
